Performance measures
We go into more detail of many of the measures on the relevant pages of this on-line report. A number of measures, for example, the accident/incident rate per 100,000 employees, together with the funds we raise by match funding our employees' support for the community, have been affected this year by organisational changes. In particular, selling the Vertex business has reduced the number of our employees and changed our overall employee profile, with more being operational than office-based.
We are delighted that overall, our performance has improved, as recognised by our improved score in the Dow Jones Sustainability and Business in the Community CR indices.
