Training centre

It is critical to the success of our health and safety management to ensure that our employees maintain the right knowledge, skills and competence levels to work as safely as possible.

We have reviewed our approach to health and safety training and identified where improvements are needed. Each business area historically organised its own training which meant there was no consistency with the courses undertaken and often the content was not tailored to our needs and did not deliver the desired result.

We have now appointed ‘Develop’ as a key partner organisation for competence and training in the UK. This will help us ensure that our health and safety training is appropriate, effective and put into practice by employees. Having a partner training organisation also gives us the opportunity to further consolidate many of our existing training providers under their management to ensure a consistent quality of training.
