Occupational health
The health of our employees is vitally important to us. We offer a wide range of services including self-referral for health concerns, counselling services and lifestyle health assessments. Under our arrangement with Norwich Union Occupational Health (NUOH), employees who have suffered workplace injury or ill health can be referred by their managers for physiotherapy sessions.
NUOH also brings its mobile health care units to our sites to carry out employee health checks. Consultations can also be arranged across a national network of approved medical centres or at NUOH’s own regional centres so access to services is never an issue. We provide a monthly calendar of occupational health and wellbeing promotions and events, as well as cholesterol and blood pressure testing.
A training guide is provided to managers to help them identify the signs of stress and how to support people suffering from stress. We also offer a counselling service for employees suffering from stress, depression, bereavement etc. Employees can also confidentially self-refer themselves for this service.
