In 2006, we developed a framework to develop high performing teams to improve our business performance. The framework is based on internal and external best practice. It is a set of tools and techniques which help improve employee behaviour and our working environment.
The programme is tailored to the needs of each team. Key focus areas include identifying goals, customer requirements, communication and leadership. Each team has a dedicated facilitator on hand to support and challenge them until the team has fully embraced the high performance way of working and it has become business as usual.
We are fully committed to the high performance team programme and in fact recent research has shown a link between high employee engagement scores (on our employee opinion survey) and those teams who have taken part in the programme.
