This year is the first time we have had employee opinion survey results from the very top level of our organisation to a local team level.
We carefully communicated the results of the survey throughout the company. First, a member of our central engagement team, with an in-depth knowledge of the results, presented them to the management team. This allowed managers to reflect on the results for their area and then communicate them to their employees.
Teams across our business are taking action to improve the areas which they scored lowest in the survey. Managers have been supported with a toolkit for action planning with their teams. This includes a simple meeting plan, a library of best practice ideas and a database to record progress.
