We have a new team of waste busters to help us comply with the raft of legislation on waste disposal. They are delivering technical competence and compliance on waste obligations through an agreement with the environment agency.
Ours is the only team of its kind within the water and waste Industry and has received recognition from the Environmental Services Association and the Energy and Utility Skills Council.
The nine-strong team checks to see if we are complying with current regulations and where improvements need to be made. It is also responsible for helping us reduce carbon emissions by better waste management.
